The election will be conducted both online and in person to accommodate all GOOD standing members; Article II: Membership, Section 1: Membership; of the parent community.
Yes, you can participate in the election online if you are unable to attend in person. The online voting link will be sent out as soon as quorum, as defined in Article V: Meetings; Section 2: Quorum, has been met and the meeting has been called to order.
Per Article II: Membership; Section 3: Voting Each member will be entitled to one (1) vote on each matter submitted to during PSO General meeting. (Page 3). The nominations committee already have the list of good standing members as of May 8, 2024 11:59 pm, 14 days BEFORE the election.

No, per Article III: Executive Board, Section 4: Elections: Nominations from the floor are not accepted at the election meeting.
The 45-minute voting window ensures a fair and efficient process during the PSO General Meeting, allowing all members to vote simultaneously, whether they are attending in person or online. This helps maintain the integrity of the election.
Per Article V: Meetings; Section 3: Voting Each good standing member in attendance; either online or in-person; is eligible to vote. Absentee and proxy votes are not allowed, except in the case of an extraordinary event where a majority of the membership is unable to vote in person or virtually. Voting must occur during the General Meeting once quorum is called. Click here for the bylaws.
